Why limit Earth Day to one day of the year, when our planet needs to be looked after everyday? Children regularly use sticks, rakes, bags and gloves to clean out Elmer’s 2 Mile Creek behind our school. Team work is encouraged to share ideas and tools for everybody to get a chance. Real problems are solved by the children to determine the best positioning, the best tool, and how to support each other. Cheers ring out from our earth stewards when any litter is retrieved and then it is appropriately recycled, composted, or disposed of properly.
