Helping make the sauce
We are lucky enough to have a 120 year old apple tree in our playground that not only is great to climb, but also inundates us with pounds of apples each start of the school year. This year in Summer Camp the children prepared the best apples for snacks and juicing, and then the rest were cut up, cooked, and then processed into apple sauce. This annual activity ensures that we have home made, organic apple sauce prepared by the children to see us through the school year.
