Parents, we have chosen our next Storybook Journey by popular demand. It is a picture book, Chalk by Bill Thomson. This book has been on the bookshelves since summer camp and has had nonstop action by the children. Children look at the book on their own, discuss it in small groups and it has been read for story time several times. The illustrations are captivating and easily followed by the children of all ages and languages. Along this journey, our themes for exploration will be Imagination, emotions, drawing, weather and dinosaurs. We look forward to the journey.
